Some colors are not colorfast. Use gentle detergent, wash separately, and line-dry out of direct sunlight.
The “my-bag” is crafted from vintage kimono with minimal new materials. Each bag is an individual. Some flaws and fading are common with recycled materials and add to each bag’s uniqueness.
The United Nations Environment Programme estimates that a reusable textile bag must be used 50 to 150 times to have less impact on the environment compared with one single-use plastic bag. The “my-bag” is post-consumer recycled, meaning the carbon footprint has already been absorbed by the initial purpose/use of the source materials.
